I got into Jarre because he was a totally original composer who influenced a lot of people, now he is trying to make a niche for himself inside a vast genre of boring dance music for teenagers, clearly a commercial choice and hardly one reflecting a composer who used to be influenced by the likes of Eric Satie, etc. Hell, I love dancing, but Jarre hardly compares to James Brown or Chemical Brothers or even Bob Sinclair. I was kind of hoping he would go somewhere interesting this time, been following his downfall since Rendez Vous, and now this.
