The concert was only broadcasted live for radio, not TV (just like Lyon, Docklands and PLD).

A few months after the show there was a compilation on several TV stations, the same one got released on VHS later. All broadcasts were the same (BRT, RTL, TV5 etc except for the BBC version where they had a small interview onsite few days before the concert... Apart from the interview that broadcast was however the same.

There was also a lot of newscoverage early april, in NL we had some clips on the "jeugdjournaal" for example

I spoke to my colleague today & she said there was a lot of talking in it & not a lot of the actual concert so it seems she must have had the one that Antigoon mentioned which was broadcast on the BBC.
Surely the entire concert must have been recorded,but proberbly ended up in the cutting room bin.

I do think PPL believe a lot you say, and when you think something many believe it to be true, so be *even more* carefull please.... Don't speculate and when you do be more clear you are speculating about something.

Also, Jones posted an april 1986 Houston TV interview a while back (I think it was on this forum, but could be on IRC too) where someone asks JMJ when PPL can finaly see the concert on TV. JMJ said he was sorry a live broadcast wasn't possible but he was on his way to LA to be working with one of the best directors to make a video of the event and it was allready sold to several TV stations including .... (fill in the blanks)

There´s rumours about someone spreading rumours just for the sake of spreading rumours!
Those spreading rumours, and this is NOT a rumour, are not only spreading rumours, but also victims of spreading rumours! It´s a rumour that a romour is just a rumour! That´s not true, a rumour is also a rumour in that sense that a rumour is based on rumours! Some say that´s just a rumour, but it´s a fact that spreading rumours, is not only about spreading rumours (Co´s that´s a rumour itself), but about the rumour being spread!

This clip appeared the local on KHOU-tv, but the actual concert was filmed by a company called GASP! Productions (or GASPI, my VHS tape is a bit blurry )
either they have all tapes in their archives, or they're biting dust at Dreyfus...

You were right first time - GASP!
You would think if Dreyfus had power of release, they would use the full archive available, and JMJ might be more disposed to allowing a release. I'm quite sure the remainder of the archive is in the hands of whoever owns GASP!
The existing coverage, since it has already been released on VHS is owned by JMJ / Dreyfus / GASP! and goodness knows who else.
