I loved the album as soon as I heard it and I have not changed my mind since.

I like the album... maybe that the word love comes in the future...

I love the album. I think it's just as good as Meta. I like all the songs. They have great effects and a nice beat to. My favorite song is Touch to Remember. I think the album has something new and fresh about it.

If I have one complaint about Téo & Téa, it is that it should end on Melancholic Rodeo.

Like L'Emigrant, Last Rendez-Vous “Ron’s piece”, Oxygene 13, Equinoxe Part 8, etc....MR has that finale that makes the album complete...like saying farewell. Even Vintage would have worked for this!

But when Téo & Téa 4AM Mix comes on I want to say enough! I don't know, it feels like the perfect meal where you eat that one extra bite that says okay now I'm stuffed as opposed to satisfied. It feels too much like a tacked on Bonus track IMHO.

I agree on that part, Ramesh. The album does have some neat tracks (I love Touch To Remember, Ok do it fast, PIC1&2, and the title track, Vintage and M.Rodeo are cool too) but it doesn't seem to have this JMJ touch. That's what I miss.

It's like. Anyone can make tomato soup, but nobody can make it like my grandmah does. Get my point?

I do think the album, to me, feels just slightly over-produced.

I don't know how much influence Tim Hüfken has had on this album. From interviews he seems like a really cool guy, but he sounds like he's saying he came up with 50% of the ideas so what I think I'm hearing from him is Téo & Téa is actually Jarre & Hüfken! (as opposed to a strictly Jean Michel Jarre album)

Heck, I would have actually rather had "The Vizitors" album if this is the case...but I digress...

I think Hüfken has more influences on the track Téo & Téa and not the whole album. i can easily be wrong though.

He has "produced" 4 tracks on the album...

But indeed, I agree with Ramesh about T&T 4:00 AM. That one should be on a single, not as the end of a CD!

Which tracks did he produce besides T&T?

Well, according to what he said to Guillaume and me, he did more than "produce" Teo&Tea track, he composed it...

It's like we say about Steven Spielberg recently... he still makes great movies but he doesn't know how to end them, hahaha...example: A.I., War of The Worlds, Munich...
