You know, about this review, the guy is right! Jarre is NOT, and I repeat, NOT dead!!!
Jarre is just showing us/him self, that he´s still a young boy inside, and he IS!! Jarre has and always had, a very speciel talent in this electronic world of music! He never stops to explore and he never will! Thank god for that! I love Metamorphoses! I love Sessions! I love Geometry! NOT because it`s Jarre, but because they´re great electronic pieces! They´re all different from each other, and THANK GOD for that!!

I F..... admire that guy for doing what he does!! There´s not many other artist, if any, that does the same trick as him!! He never just repeats himself!! And THANK GOD for that!!
As for Teo&Tea.. I think it´s a fun album, and I also thought that when I heard it the first time!! I also could hear that it was a VERY simple album, almost too simple for my taste, and I also didn´t think the melodies was very strong, and I still don´t think so. Still I think that "Vintage" is one of his most weak songs ever.. I´m almost sure that I myself have come across that same theme/melodi many times when I´ve just sit and played around on the keyboard, but have then moved along, co´s this tune is just sooo a "beginners tune"!! In my opinion that is!! In fact, that melodi would have fitted more into the first Oxygene album!
Well anyway, I don´t listen to Teo&Tea much, and never has. It´s not a bad album, it´s just not THAT interesting in the long run IMO! He could have made it stronger/different, but that´s how it became, and that´s it! It has it´s moments, and some fun ideas but overall.. well not strong enough IMO.. In fact, one of my faves of that album is "Gossip"
ALSO I´m not that much into the "sound" of this album, it has this "flat" sound/feeling to it, and that´s not me at all!! I loved the sound on Geometry, and hopefully the next album would be more in that direction, if not fully analog!! I have nothing against softsynths, but the "albumsound" should never be like this! Not IMO!

I know that he used some hardware synths on this new album, but it still feels "flat"...
Jarre is NOT dead!!! He is just playing around as he´s always done!!! Teo&Tea was just a fun and (another) different album in the line of Jarre. Just you guys wait for the next one!!
If you belong to those that think that Jarre "died" after Oxygene 7-13, well then he would problably be dead forever on! If you think that Jarre continued doing great albums after that, the future still, as always, looks bright and wonderfull!!!
