JONES!
Me, I don't really get worked up over new movies anymore
But-
- Star Trek
Prince Caspian/Narnia
Indy 4
And while I'm very partial to the giant-creature-on-the-rampage genre, I just can't say I'm particularly enthused for
Cloverfield...

Might I suggest "The Host", a Korean monster movie (it's from 2006, so it's a bit off-topic)

Yeah...Heard that one was good, I've also heard that there's a plot afoot in Hollyweird to "re-make" it...
I'm still hoping that Toho will decide dust off the Godzilla franchise, spend some time and effort on a decent plot and FX, and make another one...
Did I actually say that out loud?

I got one from 2000, which is making fun of the 1998 US remake in one scene. The movie itself is pretty silly though.

Yeah, that's Godzilla 2000...
I wish Toho would do one in the same (dark) tone as the 1954 original, but with updated FX, a la Peter Jackson's
King Kong....probably never happen though, even the suits at Toho think of G as "cheesy", and not very profitable...

And with Ed Norton...groan... I've heard he's a nightmare to work with... thinks he's a screenwriter and uses his star power to now rewrite any movie he's in--I hear it's in his contract! The best movie he ever did was Fight Club. Lost some teeth in that one...

I hardly remember FC because I can't stand watching mr Pitt through a whole movie.
I liked Edward's part in a movie against De Niro and Marlon Brando.
I think it's called "The Score" ...or something like that.
