Yes, i was also sticked to the old Jarre.net forum, reading all that great reports and reviews, even Francis Rimbert posted a message on the forum.

It was indeed a very good forum. I only had the pleasure of being there, the last year it was open.

I was a JMJ fan from 1991 to early 1998, with a 5-year-hiatus and have been a refan (more than ever) ever since.

And I'd say there isn't really much to reminisce about the Jarre.net forums. I mean, the phpBB one from 2004 to early 2006 was a lot more tolerable than the cheap ones before (hell, anyone could use any name except for Francis, Bignath, JMJ etc.) where everyone was just trolling amidst some legitimate posts (such as my first post "WHERE CAN I GET DOCKLANDS AUDIO" ).

Yet it had a lot of dumb bickering of which most have luckily remained at JarreForum, pretty much the successor forum to Jarre.net. Let's hope it stays that way!

That's not all, I remember when I posted the very exact post at Jarre.net and JarreUK Forums (the old ones that had been opened in 2001 or so) and I got a reply from SPACEDOUT who hadn't uploaded the Docklands audience recording on the net so he finally uploaded it for me.

Man, those were weird times. I remember when the original JarreuK forums were replaced with the phpBB ones which were really inactive until they were taken down and replaced with JarreForum about a year later. Nothing fancy about that but I remember all kinds of things most people don't or wouldn't even consider worth remembering later

I went to Beijing for the concert

remember the months upto the event. There were no tickets.. only VIP but we thought.. F*** that.. we go anyway and thank god for that. 3 dressrehearsals and then 1 actual concert later.. wow memories

and btw.. surroundsound at 100.000Watt.. works quite well
