I only have a slightly warped LP. So most versions have IR in parts, including remasters, I don't know if the original release had both variants, but similar situation was with RV, some pressings had tracks separated into parts, very inconveniant, especially that the CD standard allows for more than one inxes within a track, commonly used are 00 for pregap and 01 main portion, but I've seen few CDs that utilized more indices and some good players can make a use of it, some software will ask if it should include them in splitting image to tracks and EAC can rip index-based not only track-based.Finaero wrote: Wed Mar 31, 2021 5:45 pm As far as I know, "Revolution, Revolutions" premiered in the 1991 Digitally Remastered release of the album (not counting the PLD version, ofc), so that's the very first version (also the same one as in the 1994 Canadian CD) - thus making the 1997 one the first remastered version (and second altogether).
Similarly, out of the versions that I have, the 1988 West German release has all the parts of Industrial Revolution in one track and every version after that (1991 digitally remastered, 1994 Canadian, 1997 Sony) have the parts as individual tracks.
As far as I know, some versions of the Revolutions album from 88 first have Industrial Revolution as one long track, but there are also editions from this year that divide the track into 4 parts. Also I noticed some differences in the length of some tracks according to the different editions.
