If you read the book The Davinci Code (yes, it finally reached a Jarre topic...) you can learn a little bit more about Freemasonry. It is not a freaky orgarnisation, they excist already for hundreds of years and basicly they stand for a better world for all people. A lot of famous and highly educated people were/are members like; Mitterand, Churchill, King Wilhelm II (of Holland), Fritz Philips (head of Philips), Germany Kings, English Royal Family, all US presidents, Mozart, Von Beethoven, Liszt, and many, many more. So Jarre (if he is a freemasonry member) is a nice list of names.

Not so long ago I was 'accussed' of being a freemasonry supporter on this forum, and it actually made me more interested in this subject...

But the whole symbol search in Jarre's work, hmmm I dunno. I think the guy who wrote that article was too much searching for proof, very one-sided review. like the same idiots who started to play records backwards, get a life!

I think one reason can be that there exists fake organisations calling themselfs masonry and the fact that Freemasonry can be different from one corner of the world to the next.
The secrecy around the organisation doesn't help it looke any better, but it has helped Freemasonry to survive under 300 years of history with all the conflicts that conserns.
I saw a TV program about a former member of a Freemasonry organisation. She felt like she were held in prison with working and praying duties everyday. It was about making peoples "be a better person". They also had some sort of punichments involved but I don't remember exactly what that was all about...allthough, it may not have to be the usual thing in "the overall" Freemasonry. Some get lucky, some don't I guess...
