1. Souvenir of China
6. Calypso 2
7. Zoolook
Great tracks but nothing to really tempt a purchase.
The "Essentials" is NOT included in the vinyl release. It's only the "Rarities" part, containing La Cage, Hypnose, Deserted Palace etc..

No matter how scratched this one is, I still need to have it.

I still hope this gets a release someday, even if it is a .mp3 download. I understand the thought behind the One Copy like a painting, but considering how often the Paintings of Granger have sold (millions of Oxygene (7-13), Equinoxe, Rendez-Vous etc) and the amount of posters you can get of some paintings, I would really love a release of MPS for the general public, but still keep that one Vinyl Record a unique piece...
There then the idea of one single copy is still preserved but everyone can enjoy high(er) versions of the album

Quality control is apparently not something that is done nowadays.
In the last month, or so, I've had problems with three remastered albums.

looks damaged, dirty and dusty. There is no anti static bag but the records are kept in a paper bag, with the exception of the Magnetic Fields record which comes in the cardboard jacket.
I informed DISQUES DREYFUS about this issue, and they has answer me that it may be a production mistake in your copy. But they confirmed that each vinyl comes with its inner paper bag.

That's nonsense. There is actually an inner sleeve, but in case of Magnetic Fields the inner sleeve contains some art work. It's not a plain white inner sleeve. Just like the Dreyfus release of 1981 (FDM 18108), the inner sleeve is made of hard card board instead of paper or (even better) an anti static jacket (rice paper).

Unfortunately, I can only confirm that the answer you had in mind is the correct answer.

I confirm it too, I describe it as they cut out a few seconds of music in the master. Like the music jumps 5 seconds forward without any silence gap. (I hope I describe it a bit clear, I am drinking my second Trappist now..)

I always take out the vinyl very carefully out of these rubbish paper jackets, and wash it then on my automatic disc washer which eleminate every tiny bit of dirt. After this I put it in a antistatic sleeve from paper/plastic hdpe. A Knosti's (hand-matic) is very affordable and is already a good cleaning for new vinyl, or second-hand dirty vinyl. These things can be bought at
www.vinylvinyl.nl here in Holland.
