OK, forgive me being thick but which tracks are missing from the official DVD? I do have the uncut version but I must admit I didn't think there was any difference.

Does it really matter interlacing..? I always just use the plugins that are in VLC media player, has a couple of great de-interlacing types

It won't work this time, I think whoever recorded the concert used progressive mode but the original stream was interlaced. So when you open it in power dvd for instance, deinterlacing won't make a difference as it assumes the video is progressive. Well, I'm not exactly an expert in all this, but it looks fine after running through filters.

Ok, It's done. Full broadcast in wide screen dvd format with chapters (no menu though). Sadly picture gets worse after rendez-vous 2 because the second source was highly compressed. Using HD files instead seemed unreasonable as it would've caused quality change throughout the video from good to perfect to poor...
Size of the dvd is - 6.52 GB (same as archives). Stay tuned for polish tv interviews, reports and making of

I posted the broadcast in 2 parts on youtube in 720p but bear in mind It is not true HD, it is made from the same dvd , only upconverted to keep the quality intact.
Dr_Jones wrote:There are audience audio recordings, I have not seen audience video recordings. And IIRC Warrior sells a DVD with the TV broadcast.
Do you have audience audio ? Warrior's made a lot of recordings, but he/they dont' even accept paypal and I think selling bootlegs to fans is.... Well, I prefer free trade.

And finally - Various polish tv reports and concert preparations:
P.S. Perhaps these last messages with links should be moved to a new topic so that everyone could see it?

Part 1
Part 2
Ow sadly the TV station has some problems with the broadcast connection on "The Emigrant" I remember there was a colourbar in the live broadcast. But as they always record it also at the directing room, it should not be a reason to cut it out of the original DVD... and hmm I think JMJ can do a nice Bluray box with all the HD recordings

Great thanks, just wondering before hand. How is the audio quality of the live broadcast..? That of the DVD and CD are rather lousy with way to much bass and the volume being push way to high for it's own good. Are the live broadcasts (Radio aswell as TV) alot better, or just as lazy mastered..?

The (digital?) TV broadcast didn't have that great sound quality from what I remember. Especially Chronologie 2 was really badly mixed, the album/DVD version was much better.
