He was clearly joking, but it's great it seems to have happened regardless

Yes, he was joking, but I found that bit quite funny regarding the news about the third Oxygene. I guess he must have worked on it in parallel to Electronica. Will be great to hear how it turns out to be then!

I remember a small documentary on Arte or so. I heard several excerpts of tunes, but none of them were released on the Electronica Albums. Perhaps they were meant for Oxygene 14-20.
If I can find it on the internet somewhere, I will post it here...

Found it!
It was a small part of Thé ou Café in 2010.
You can hear the minipops and other typical Oxygene-sounds.

I believe the part that you specifically linked turned into 'Swipe to the Right'.

I wonder if that short vibraphone-style piece that was on the Lalique Aerosystem documentary will make it on to the new project as I always liked that track!
I'm also wondering if Adagio will make an appearance as well as that is very Oxygène-like and hasn't appeared anywhere since!

That's the Moby song from Electronica 1.

I'd love a development on 7-13 which is one of my favourite Jarre albums, whilst perhaps returning to the themes of the original towards the end.

Very likely, an announcement/teaser for O1420 was rumoured to happen at the end of September.
I'm really really curious if this will be the "another Oxygene" that some of the fans have been dreaming about. I sure hope it will be closer to the original Oxygene than 7-13 was.

Official announcement of "Oxygene 3"
"when I was recording Electronica, two years ago, I did a piece of music (today Oxygene 19) that made me think about what Oxygene could be if I was composing it today. "
Also, looks like O7-13 will be renamed to "Oxygene 2" (tentative name from 1996), JMJ already calls his 1976 album "Oxygene 1".
