If the LP version is the same as in Rarities 6, then I hear no difference between it and CD version. Geez.

The string part between the lead is more advanced in the cd version, and it sounds more live played from the LP version.
The lower part (or what this is called) of the lead is more clear in the CD version, if you gte what I mean... It is more than an octave lower.

Do you mean the arpeggio? I think that is lower in the LP verison than in the CD verison.

No, the one in Rarities 6 is the single version, which is the 'newer' one.

I think the only place you'd find the old version is on an Equinoxe LP.

No I mean the lead itself. It starts out just like a one hand lead abd then like it was two handed (this technic is said to be done in another way though). It is difficult exactly to tell what I mean. Try listen to the cd version at 1:04, a lower note part of the lead is played in the background, this is much more clear in the CD version compared to the LP version (if the LP version is that from the rareties 4

I don't have the original LP, so this could always be mixing related.

Equinoxe Part 5; Vinyl album version + CD album version = identical.

Original CD version that is. Can't talk about no CD remaster shit.

There are probably differences on the CD's, they have been remastered a couple of times.

If the Equinoxe CD is remastered from the original LP, there shouldn't be any difference exept for the vinyl vs. CD sound itself.
On the other hand...if the remastering is taken from the "Musik aus Zeit und Raum" vinyl there is a difference...because it says on the cover that it is a new'er version of Equinoxe 5.

I will try to record mp3's of them both when I have time for it...

Yes, it is that. I think that isn't just as loud from the original version. It is still there though.

I could send the version from the rareties 4 bootleg. That version is called 'LP version 78' so I guess that's the one, but I know noyau has it on his server, I got it from there and I know you two are chatting on Messenger so he might send it more quickly
