Then you have heard both versions!!
The Docklands-version is, as you know, the one with the flute intro. This version is on the 88´release of the album "Revolutions"!
The string version is on the "nice price" version, and was also performed at Paris la defence in 90´!

Just played it in my studio. Used my father's guitar-effectpanel as vocoder. (My voice going through a distortion and pitch-shifter, sounds pretty funny!)

The original sound is from the D50, it we are talking of the bass (on which he says "FREEDOM, NO NO NO FREEDOM and so on
