The more copies of Oxygene 7-13 on LP, the better ;)

JmJ introspective understated expressions counterpointing robust riproaring Electronica.

More similar most welcome.

Do we know anything about the Oxygene Trilogy Deluxe yet?
On the official JMJ site it just says "coming soon"...

I thought that the "deluxe" was the 3 CDs + 3 LPs + Book?

Not gonna pay extra money for a litograph (145 € on Amazon.de is pretty good already), but I find it curious how Amazon.de didn't add any postal fees into my order and that JMJ MyShopify site doesn't calculcate any for Finland either (UK gets a £10.50, though).

Alas, even with Amazon shipping costs it'd still be cheaper than getting it directly from Finland, where the lowest price is in the 190 € range. ;)

Perhaps because this paragraph in bold? "PLEASE NOTE: This item is only available to ship to the UK."

Whoops!

*a-hem* Well, maybe there's no "Oxygene 3 fancy box shipping costs conspiracy" after all. ;)

Well, the confusing part is that further down the page the 3CD + 3LP + book
product is named "OXYGENE ULTIMATE TRILOGY BOX SET".
Not Oxygene Trilogy Deluxe as it says in the first place. :?

This thing, however

is actually called "Oxygene Trilogy Deluxe". Bundle.

Too bad there isn't a separate vinyl re-release of the second album - I'm really only interested in the Vinyl versions of that and the new album.
The 3 CD + 3 LP + extras box is a bit too pricy for my taste, let alone the insane eBay pricing on Oxygene 7-13 these days...

Hey guys :) Do any of you remember the last Oxygene tour (2010) where Jarre played another intro at one or more concerts? It wasn't Waiting for Cousteau, but another ambient kind of "song"? It was about 20 minutes long. In a audience recording (the only one?) you can hear two people speaking dutch (I think) at the very beginning. We all talked about if it was Jarre or not, and the outcome was, that it wasn't Jarre but somebody else.

But here's the thing :) In that 20 minutes piece you can hear Oxygene part 19 :) Or at least the bit you can hear on youtube (the Oxygene 3 album player)

Anyone else got that audience recording?

I can only think of the Oxygene 5/Variations 3/Theremin Piece that also lasted 20 minutes.

And yeah I have two different audience recordings of that Rotterdam concert and a self made mix of the two. I could upload it if you want so.

The last Oxygene tour was in 2008. Do you mean the Oxygene tour of 2008 or the tours 2009/2010/2011?

No the recording is from the 2010 tour, and I have it on my computer :)

But the point is: There is a part of that recording (from 2010) that contains what Jarre is now (in 2016) presenting as Oxygene part 19. So if it wasn't Jarre that composed that ambient intro back in 2010, then why is a part of it on Jarre's new Oxygene 3 album? But if it WAS Jarre, then we've got a 20 minutes ambient piece of work, that not many knows about :) And it's an amazing piece, Jarre or not Jarre! :)
