Jean-Michel's flight in the AirCar makes headlines. Even the biggest German newspaper reported about it: https://www.bild.de/leben-wissen/wissen ... 051c5b7890
Unfortunately the concert in Bratislava is not mentioned at all.

Jarre's flight managed to travel the world with sites from different countries like Brazil, South Africa, India, USA, UK... Interesting that he became number 1 in the world in something...first passenger in a flying car...

News from Brian May :

"Tonight my last job will be to do some guitar playing – to improve my grasp of the tunes I will soon be playing with my friend Jean-Michel Jarre, live in Bratislava for the STARMUS EARTH Festival. But also to harden up my finger ends so I can give the performance my all on the night.

Painful fingers are really not helpful when you’re trying to lose yourself in a moment of guitar-speak. So I’m putting in the work every day. And tomorrow is another day !"

Jean-Michel Jarre announces an exceptional one-off live concert, Bridge from the Future, the opening event of this year’s STARMUS Festival. In association with ESET, a global leader in digital security, the electronic music pioneer will perform live at Incheba Bratislava, Slovakia on May 12 – against the stunning backdrop of the SNP (UFO) Bridge.

He will be joined on stage by special guest Sir Brian May. The concert is held in cooperation with the City of Bratislava and is free to attend. It will be televised on Slovakian National RTVS as well as globally via the EBU network and live-streamed on Jean-Michel Jarre’s YouTube channel.

The Bedford-born musician, Adiescar Chase, has been nominated in the television award shows category for Original Music: Fiction in 2024.

It is easy for the multi-instrumentalist to distract herself from the upcoming awards. She has recently been in Paris rehearsing with the French electronic music pioneer, Jean-Michel Jarre, for a show taking place in Slovakia in May.
She will perform with him at the bi-annual Starmus Festival, where she will also share a stage with Queen guitarist Brian May.

The composer said: "This is just ridiculous and I'm very pleased and honoured to be involved.

"We're seeing things that work and what doesn't work... I'll be just jamming with some strange bongo percussion thing and it's just really fun.
"Some of it's scary, but it's really fun."

Adiescar worked on Synthy Sisters take 2 on Oxymoreworks, big chance they're going to play that track

Doubt it TBH, this track has zero concert potential

In the Slovak TV schedule the concert is scheduled (sic) for 20:45-00:05. Pretty much a placeholder (very much doubt the concert will last 3 hours, no way) but it's interesting that it does not start at 20. Perhaps it will be a delayed broadcast.

The ticket website of the festival says now that the concert will start at 20:40. Gates will be open from 6 pm. Again it is stated that festival ticket holders will have a special area reserved near the stage (until capacity of the special area is reached).
