It definitely sends off a IR2 vibe, sounds pretty good thus far.

Now is very comercial JMJ only for money.
JMJ cant composed anything without other people??.
You are the person who defines the real Jarre? I thought that would be Jarre himself. It is also possible that you simply don't like "Jarre" as a composer, you only like the particular style called "Oxygene/Equinoxe/Rendezvous/Chronologie" which JMJ happened to do for 20 years. There are lots of artists who only do one kind of music, including this style. Maybe you want to seek them out.

If JMJ was in this for the money, he would not spend 5 years and his own money working on a double album. In stead he would have toured, played his greatest hits 10 years in a row and taken on film soundtracks. There is no big money in albums anymore, unless you have boobs and takes your clothes off on stage. Alternatively, JMJ could have tried to make Equinoxe II to keep his old fans happy and try to sell them past glories, but then THAT would have been wrong too. He was accused of doing the commercial thing with 7-13, you know. Even if that was old-school Jarre. He just can't win, so he better do things he likes himself. His job is not to satisfy us, you know. Selling records and concert tickets is just a happy byproduct of doing what he likes.

FYI Jarre composed all the tracks on this 2 album project. What do you mean, he can't compose on his own?

(Tired rant over.)

Ok so you'll have to book a flight ticket to Cornwall to be able to buy that single?

I think it's been decided to have a split strategy regarding Vol1 and Vol2.
Vol1 full tracks released on Youtube/Vevo, Vol2 just snippets and a couple of full tracks.
See which album sells the best?

Otherwise it maybe just a time restraint issue.
Vol1 had many months (maybe years) to get organised, but the time between Vol1 and Vol2 is much less.

I hear from a fan that lives in Sevilla, Spain that this 7" is not available at his RSD store there. I'm afraid that it in some places will not available. I will call tomorow my RSD store (Fat Kat Records) in Antwerpen for to be sure. I don't want to pay crazy prices on ebay after the release of this unique item.

Greetings,

The record store I'm going to in UK is getting 5 copies. He's told me that if there are any left he can put them on general sale a week later. He said that if anyone wants a copy I can post a link to his shop. He said it saves people paying over the odds from ebay.
