JMJ si a perfectionnist.
He had played all the album many times during one week.
He was over-stressed because finally after one week of work, he had to record all on video.
He knew that would be hard to play this sequence, always telling to himself "I won't be able to play it properly, I won't be able, I won't..." and finally, he couldn't play it properly.
This is psychological, not a problem of being a good musician or not, he is good, otherwise he wouldn't be where he is now...
That's why I completly agree with Equinoxe and Jakob here, and moreover, JMJ was in front of persons, cameras, he was thiking "damn, what if I can't play it properly...", and it happened, the produced was always repeating "this is getting worse", it was not helping JMJ...

Well, that's what it was meant to be when it was invented: a keyboard that could be worn like a guitar so the keyboardist would be able to have more freedom on stage... it does look like a guitar on one of the pictures, but I knew there was a Liberation on stage, so that's how I knew...

The only track that could have featured a guitar is Oxygene 4. The bass sound is pretty close to that of a bass guitar...
