We’ve also read that you’ll be working with electronic pioneer, Jean Michel Jarre – who recently dropped an album packed with stellar collaborators – for his second volume of Electronica. Will we see you leaning towards a more electronic sound without the organic instruments that colour your works?

I think what I did with Jarre was not really out of my nature, and, likewise, it isn’t necessarily strictly acoustic or strictly electronic; it’s just sort of a hybrid.

What do you think?
they're double the length! but only audio.

Just curious, but has anything even been said about the release of the second half of the album other than "Early 2016"?

EOM= End Of Month :)

It is very quiet re:Part 2, considering we had Conquistador 6 months before Electronica 1 was released, we heard an excerpt of Glory before that, then had the Soundcloud previews before the release of the vinyls, remix EP1, track stories etc.
The tracklisting was revealed 2 months prior to release, so maybe end of Feb we will know the full tracklist.
It's less than 5 months till part 2 now, I was kind of hoping JMJ might have given us a new year treat & released a part 2 track & maybe a track story or 2.

Still waiting for the Track Stories with Boyz Noize and Pete Townshend (probably released together with the Travelator EP?)

Ok, let me dig this old post up:

I finally managed to speak to someone involved with the production of "Electronica" and he was quite surprised with this discovery. So, there you have it - this difference is NOT intended and is a production mistake. Also, the correct version is the one on CD/DDL (including the "megamix" aka "continuous mix" track).

Well considering it still doesn't have a official title, it makes sense.

It will be sure "Electronica 2 - ..." . Only the subtitle like "The Time Machine" is still not known. Only that is a secret/mistery. :wink:

Whoa. That's really soon. Sooner than the last semi-official date (EOM April 2016, as once stated on Myplaydirect website). Wonder if it's correct. If so, guess we won't be seeing as many promos as with P1.

I never, ever take amazon's release dates as correct. This is their usual way of securing first pre-orders for albums. Until I hear otherwise, I'll take MyPlay's 29th April date as correct for now.
Now watch me proved wrong :mrgreen:
