THANK YOU CHRISTOPHE! :D 8)

Ahhh...those clips are just so sweeeet!
I love the fact that it doesn't sound exactly as the original and I think that it's much more interesting this way with the thought in mind that it really is once again [glow=red]Jean Michel Jarre[/glow] pressing the keys and giving his TRUE FEELINGS to the music...WOW! :P :D

Some weird guy in the production team who thinks that a huge pile of vintage gear will sound exactly the same everytime you play it maybe? :P Personally I think that the Oxygene and Equinoxe albums sounds more or less improvised, like a work of art in motion, perfectly frozen at a mastertape. So what Jarre is trying to do now I can only describe as "catching the same butterfly" as in 1975.
So far I think he's been doing it damn well. 8)

Wow, only just caught up on all this action - where the hell have I been for the last 5 days! :?

Jeez, it's good to see Jarre working with all that vintage gear again, that stuff is worth it's weight in gold, with an unmatchable sound to boot!

Can't wait for this DVD now, dammit!!

And, can we expect the same treatement to be given to the best electronic album of all time, when its 30's anniversary arrives next year?

I call it [shadow=blue]"Oxygène 30-D"[/shadow]!!!

I asked BabelFish to translate the new on alfacam.com:

World first: Alfacam incorporate ` Oxygène'-concert van Jean Michel Jarre in 3D-HDTV
Lint, 19 September 2007 - For the first time in the history Alfacam incorporate a concert in three-dimensional HDTV. This world first takes place vanavond in one of the studios of the Eurocam medium Center at ribbon, the thuisbasis of Alfacam Group. The concert of Jean Michel Jarre is organised on the occasion of the first anniversary of EXQI, the culture sender for Flanders, and 30ste the anniversary of Jarres hitalbum "Oxygène".

The three-dimensional prerecording in high Definition requires special equipment. To this end Alfacam four use sets stereo-HD-camera's of GVG Thomson. The prerecording happens both in anaglief * and was developed in WOWvx **, brand-new 3D-beeldtechnologie that by Philips.
It the very first time that is a concert in 3D-HDTV is realised. Gabriel Fehervari, CEO, lay van Alfacam Group from: Alfacam have always profiled themselves as an innovator in tv-faciliteitensector. With these Hd-opname in three dimensions our employees have gained valuable experience, which able puts our company to build a projection again with respect to the competitors. For the average consumer 3D-HDTV perhaps still a distant future seems, but for us the future starts today already.
The concert of Jean Michel Jarre takes place today for 18u in the Eurocam media Center at ribbon to celebrate the culture sender of Alfacams the first anniversary of EXQI, sister company Euro1080. It has been tevens suffered 30 years that Jean Michel Jarre the hitalbum brought out "Oxygène". Jarre, which experimented always with the very last technology on musical area, are as a matter of fact fervent a partisan of HDTV and 3D-HDTV. He appealed as a matter of fact already several times on Alfacam to incorporate concerts in high Definition in peking (2004), Gdansk (2005) and the Sahara (2006), and for Dvd-opnames of both ' Aero ' (2004) and ' Téo & Téa ' (2007).

* Anaglief mean that linker - and rechtersignaal on the basis of colour separation are reflected. The kijker has to red be able observe the three dimensions an optical device necessary.
** Using the BlueBox and the WOWvx 3D postings of Philips one can examine 3D-beelden without having carry a special optical device thereby.
