Some kind of an omelet with pork rind or crackling coocked on a pan. It has been very famous for it's quality at Hvidsten Kro almost essential

. It was quite tasty indeed.

Yes we have frenchbread as well which is something else but what do you call products from a baker?, I had to use a one or another word

It is just that croissant is already a french type of bread (or cake??)... argh no matter.

Croissant is not a bread but a little cake made like a chocolate croissant, but without chocolate

Bread in french is "pain"

That's funny you've mentioned that... in Northern Germany (particularly in Hamburg) there exists a kind of croissant which is called "Franzbrötchen" (the name is very similar to your "frenchbread")... tastes great (and there are also different variations with chocolade, raisins, cinnamon, ...)!

You can get it with or without birkes (poppy seeds).

We also have those in finnish grocery-stores (but without the seeds)
