Basically, the AES/EBU invented a "loudness normalisation" thing for digital television, and the same thing is also increasingly used by YouTube and all streaming services like Spotify etc - all music they play gets turned up or down to be more or less the same perceived volume, so the is no more point (indeed, it's not physically possible) to make a master that sounds really "loud" - if you stream such a master on today's services, it just gets turned down and sounds utterly lacking in dynamic range.

It would be better if the record companies got off their high horses and realised the loudness war hurts the music - and our ears.

Ofcourse it will be released in december. Official releasedate is 2 december. No doubt about it.
I even think that the the regular version of oxygene 3 will already be in stores late November.
