What to think about all the extra's they could contain, like videoclips, behind the scenes looks, (tv)interviews and more.
And not just 5.1 also DTS.
The China Concerts; full concerts, seperated from the docu-material, the real live performances (like you can hear on the Peking radio broadcast).
How about Place de la Concorde, both version; the official video release and the tv broadcast!

Was PLD televised live?
I have the popular video (dvd) and the full radio broadcast with the additional Eq5, RV4 and Calypso remix encore.
Never understood as to why the video release says on the cover "full 75 minute concert" when it never was.

I want that concert in better quality!

Well, we have quite everything in acceptable quality, except for RV4 and EQ5. It was recorded digitally, so a proper re-release shouldn't be a big problem I suppose. There is a problem with the rights and all that though...

Copyrights, copyrights, copyrights. They are fine until you need them! Why no bootleg of it?

The copyright seems to be a problem with good old mister Dreyfus though...

Did Jarre and Dreyfus leave on bad terms?

As far as I know - not really. It's just that Dreyfus has a pure commercial point of view, and he will only release what's commercially attractive. Whereas a PLD DVD may be interesting for a selected amount of fans, it may not have much commercial appeal. I think that's the problem. At least, for Dreyfus. If it was upto JMJ, -I think- he would have released it years ago...

I see what you mean. Its such a shame that. Hopefully one day it may change, but I hope its sooner than later.

I do hope so too... but it seems to become more and more unlikely. Or maybe not...
