Nothing special about it at all, I was just pointing out that for those non U.K residents, they may think the newspaper is only available from the U.K. I have just pointed out that the newspaper is obtainable from other countries, as seen in the above list.

Jean Michel is in the Live magazine that comes with The Mail on Sunday. Same interview as the Daily Mail website. Plus a guided tour of JMJ's original Oxygene orchestra article. 4 pages accompanied with 4 , one is a full size one.

That's a bit of a pain in the backside! !

I've just got home from a day on the town, I purchased ONE copy of the Mail on Sunday and what do I find... a four page article! Surely it would have made more sense to publish it next week ! !

Of course I will post scans when I get the opportunity (I don't have a scanner at present) but there is no way I can get hold of 30 copies of the magazine this week! Sorry for those with requests!

There may be something in print next week but I doubt it. Does this change anyone's position on their requests? Could those who no longer want the usually rubbish newspaper please PM me as soon as possible. Sending CDs in the post will be a lot easier then trying to mail multiple copies of a newspaper with no relevance! !

Hi All,

Further to my earlier posting, today's feature in the 'Mail on Sunday' has put a bit of a spanner into our well laid plans.

I had been busy all day and so I didn't get to see the article until I got home at about 4pm. Fortunately I have been to our local 24 hour service station and managed to get hold of ten copies (they had sold out of everything else so this kind of illustrates how well regarded the MoS is in general!). I am hoping that between myself and Kanta there should be enough supplements for each person on the list - sadly that is limited to one per person but it was the best we could do in the circumstances.

Turning to next week's newspaper, I doubt very much whether there will be any printed Jarre stuff accompanying the CD. In view of the added cost of an additional week of newspapers I'd like to propose the following:

Each person on the list (hopefully) will get one copy of this week's supplement and however many copies of next week's CD that they've asked for. However, the newspaper and all the additional unrelated supplements will cost an absolute fortune in postage and packaging (especially if there is more than one being sent out per package), and the newspaper is not likely to contain anything new so I was hoping we could keep this to an absolute minimum and cut down the newspapers where possible. I hope people don't mind the limitation but it will help keep the postage cost down to €2.10 and should help me cover the additional £15 outlay I spent today.

I hope you all think this is reasonable? I don't want to come across all school teacher harsh, but at least you each get the CD (however many copies you want) and a JMJ supplement. As an added bonus you also get this week's DVD... a copy of Neil Diamond's excellent 'The Jazz Singer'!

Hi guys, I am back...! Sorry Rubberlips for answering PM late.
I didn't know Eco Disc. It seems eco friendly but really less user friendly...
I remember when 5 or 6 years ago we put a Shakira Cactus protected CD into the iMac (the white one, the Star Treky ball with a LCD on top ).
It was a nightmare. No way of ejecting this disc. We tried every soft-operation possible. Even contacted the Apple help and entered in bios-like menus guided by them. No way. The Pioneer Superdrive in it had no longer the eject button for building space reason.
We took the screwdriver and completely unmounted it. In the end the Pioneer drive surrendered to our good ways...

My thoughts exactly. Hence my warning.

I found an advice site on the web which suggested using another eco disc to try and prise the thing out... well I happened to have ten copies of 'The Jazz Singer' lying around so after a bit of pushing and shoving my Macbook finally gave birth at about 11pm last night.

My wife and I were over the moon!
