Oxygene 3 was minimalistic.
This Equinoxe Infinity is going to be epic, bombastic stuff!
Jarre is back again!

I can tell right away that this will not be as strong as the "first" Equinoxe.
It's simply too random.
Otherwise I think that the concept "smells" a lot like M. Oldfield's Return To Ommadawn.
Second album after THE big hit and so on and so forth.
I'm still looking forward to "Equinoxe Infinity". It has got great potential.

Damn, didn't realize this until now! I guess it's just fitting (I'm quite sure people did bring up "Tubular Bells 2" when Oxygene 7-13 was announced).
That "The Watchers" is a pretty nice track, though... reminded me of Vangelis' China for some reason.

The words spoken at the beginning of the Buenos Aires concert "We have been observing you humans" and so on are obviously linked to this album. Perhaps movement 8 "The Opening" is Coachella revisited.
Anyway: Movement 1 is a dreamy, moody, shipwrecked kind of piece. Looking forward to more.

Yes, after I saw the 'Equinoxe Infinity'-Tracklist for the first time it reminded me instantly on Vangelis' Mask-Album (1985) with the Tracknames 'Movement 1 - 6'. And after hearing JMJs 'The Watchers' for the first time it reminded me instantly on Vangelis' 1492-Album too ....
Btw: 'THE WATCHERS (movement 1)' is also available as single Download on e.g.:
