Okay, apparently the reason boils down to "you don't own the copyright (either)" - not mentioning whether they think that I'm infringing on JMJ's copyright or "Simon Jensen"'s

Ouch. Sucks and there's probably not much you can do about that :-/ Or can you?

For my T&T remix (and even for my account being frozen), it doesn't really matter (On that note, I can't remember what happened to the contest back in 2007 and who won it - I know I didn't submit my remix at least partially because even at the time I knew that "eh, I just rearranged the given samples + added a new lead near the end").

I'm more pissed off about "Simon Jensen" ripping off mcvadsr's Oxygene 4 trance remix, which currently has only 199 plays on SoundCloud. Not to mention that "Jensen"'s (or Gateway Music/Orchard more likely) still making at least some money off of that (122k listens on Spotify definitely isn't in the big leagues, but it's still something - especially compared to the original remix), even if the full rip-off album itself has been removed for now.

But I guess SoundCloud took my "are you going to do something about Simon Jensen ripping off mcvadsr" notification as a copyright claim, since my account got frozen only after that (or maybe they're just frowning upon anyone but the acutal copyright owner making the claims). I guess I'll send an e-mail to Aero Prod about that one just in case.

Interestingly, now the "LOVE" album (which featured Vanello's Palawan and a bad YouTube version of "The Voyage" from Rendez-Vous in Space) has been taken off SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/simon-jensen-741788040/sets) and Spotify (pictured)... but the lead "single" still remains.

Just gone to that Soundcloud link and there is now nothing there at all, it looks like the lead single has now been taken down, but it is still there on You Tube and Spotify.

Yeah, his "normal" account seems to be this one https://soundcloud.com/simon-jensen-741788040 (also the one appearing in the stats of my T&T remix) - which seems to have done away with all of the JMJ covers/remixes they ripped off (+ others) in the favorites.

The account you linked to is the "official" one where the "Tell me the truth!" and "LOVE" "albums" and playlists were uploaded, but now indeed only the lead single remains (as it does on Spotify and Apple Music for example). No idea what's been going on behind the scenes that's led to the removal of those albums.

Yeah, perhaps the thread name should be prepended with "[FAKE]"...
