That was fun. We're all transferred to Oxyville, a 3D film noir black&white setting. Every track got its own scene, so you'll be automatically transferred to those locations in the city. For example: one moment you are on a railway station, the next scene is in the train itself. We ended in a club and after the concert Waiting for Cousteau was played.
The music is quite good. It's something that really works whilst exploring this world. It's dancey, very modern, some ambient stuff, even some stuff that sounds like dubstep. An enjoyable listen altogether.
I made a recording of the full concert, but one thing annoyed me: there were people taking photos, so you can hear the shutter every now and then.
oh wow, there were a lot more people there than the one I attended (I think there were several "hubs"), there were 10 or so people, this looks really crowded.

Judging from what I've heard so far this should've been released instead of Amazonia

It sounds as a more coherent piece of music than Amazonia, absolutely. Amazonia works well as background music, but this is something you can listen to repeatedly

Seems there are official track titles. I wonder if this gets released. Seems to could have been a much more interesting release than WTTOS.
The copyright flagging COULD indicate a potential release, although for the time being neither Shazam or Google are recognizing it.

Yeah, this has got to be released in the future. I've played the music several twice now and I'm really enjoying it.
He's using a strange cubical device during the concert:
And he used some violin-ish device:
December 2023... Let's hope that's a placeholder date. End of 2023 is pretty late.

For people who want to attend the VR concerts:
- install VR Chat (Steam/PC or Oculus)
- be sure to join the VRRoom discord, the link is in the eventbright reservation of your ticket, there are people there who are hosting the event and can help you with any problems
- check the discord room's pinned messages first, these are important
You will get an invite for the event. Log into VR Chat 30 minutes before the concerts and check your inbox.
If you joined the event, you'll start in a waiting room. People will instruct you what to do, like copy their avatar, turn off some settings, all those kinds of things.
And then you'll wait.
And then.. enjoy the ride
Good to know about this service. I wish it existed 4 years ago when I didn't have an Android phone and couldn't use Shazam
Interesting that there are no entries for Oxymore in the SACEM database.

Before you get an invite, someone from the VRROOM team wants to become your friend. That is the part where I failed yesterday. I wasn't aware that I needed to read the pinned messages and I didn't really notice the friend request at the adequate moments. I missed the first ten minutes this way sadly.
Nevertheless it was an awesome, fun event, and I fully I agree with you guys: Oxymore is definitely worth an official release.
