I remember some scandinavian TV-series in which some girl used to push her belly button to make her dissapear. She then went on to turn off the TV while nobody could see her to annoy her dad, and she did magician shows and all that. It was kinda fun, but the idea behind it was just so.... scandinavian

That was before my times, but I have still seen it. That was also a serie, just not related to Christmas. That kind of series you described is the typical 18:00 - 18:30 show for kids which is show every day, of course different series were scheduled to a specific day of the week. In December all those series are substituted by one serie of 24 parts.
This serie about DASA is said to be an adult christmas serie

I heard on the radio today they've found some damage on some part of the heat shield under one wing....what was that all about?

The first spacewalk (with mr. Fuglesang) will begin tonight.
Pilot Bill Oefelein will coordinate the spacewalk, which is slated to begin at 3:42 p.m. EST and conclude at 9:52 p.m. (American time + about 6 hours)
Damn...why is always the cool parts happening in the middle of the night?!

I think they repaired some heat shielding while in space a while ago. Shouldn't be a problem I guess.

Today I've heard that Nasa has decided that the damage to the heat shield will not cause any risk at all because it is simply to small.
