I like the "Docklands"-version slightly better - it also fits more better into the studio album the way that it is mixed. You do hear that "Revolution Revolutions" was re-recorded later - and it does sounds like his live concert "backup tape".
Nevertheless: I don't mind Jarre changing songs on album when he feels a later version is better - I just wish he had made versions available on one CD.

As with just about all his tracks, I prefer the original version. I make an exception for Magnetic Fields 2 of which I prefer the Docklands version.
