Ow hell no, the re-mastering sucked big time. And the mastering on the New Master Recording was also horrible... I'd rather just have a new album with bad mastering, atleast we would have something different to listen to...
But if that David guy stays onboard with the mastering, then I'm afraid we will be getting another Essentials & Rarities ish mastering job. And that one was horrible!

"But I have already prepared some demo recordings for their (Dreyfus Music) new album, so I hope to come out early next year."
Atleast this indicates who is releasing the album.

Good news. So has Jean Michel Re-signed with Disques Dreyfus? Could this new collaboration lead to some interesting new releases (blu rays, dvds..)

It may happen that FDM will take care of the release. I peronally think it's no matter which label release the album, as far as the album is a success now...
JMJ really should release the next album in 2012! For various and obvious reasons, I think no need to go into details!

Well the most obvious reason would be a bloody 5 year gap between his last two albums, don't remember Jarre ever having had such a big gap. Even if there wasn't an album for 4 years, there would atleast be something released like a concert album, or a major concert would take place (PLD). But not a compilation disc which featured with exception of one track nothing new, and nothing that the fans haven't heard already before.
And let's be honest, Essentials and Rarities was made for the fans, and not the casual listener. I still wish the Rarities part would have been done better with more tracks, and more varation in the tacks by adding Cartolina, Popcorn and Zoolook Extended Remix... But yeah, that was wishfull thinking

I am not so sure about that. The google translation can not always be trusted. According to the Czech fanclub, the word translated as 'their' actually means 'his', as in JMJ's.

I tend to agree with that. Also the way JMJ uses English can lead to misinterpretations sometimes (through no fault of anyone). I remember when he was on the BBC promoting Aero and talking about the upcoming Beijing concert saying it would be broadcast "in this country" meaning China not the UK.
Two albums for the next year !
