I'd never heard of him either but a quick search on You Tube and Band Camp and there's some really great music by him. I like a lot! Terrific video for his track Hometown too.

Yeah, as a remix it's not that good (not much elements of the original track). But as a musical track, I love it.

Nice remix - I prefer it to the Brian Eno one

Hahaha, that rap, good god! Yeah, as a remix those were terrible, and as musical tracks they were too.
Remixes in the 90s were crazy. I remember an anecdote from Aphex Twin who forgot he had to remix a track. So when he got a call when he was going to deliver the remix, he put something together in an afternoon.
