Yes, that's what he said in the interview. Still, I think an "Oxygene 21" single for the 50th Anniversary would be dynamite!

Mine's supposed to arrive on 3rd-5th, but I have little faith in that estimate... Leaked digital copy will have to suffice in the meantime

Leaking a copy is only possible for people with very complicatied technical skills. You have to rip a CD, encode it and upload it. In a world of smartphone swipers and facebook like-button pushers it is very hard to find a person with both the CD and the aforementioned skills.

If you really find ripping a CD in .mp3 difficult you have some serious problems because most, if not all, audio programs can do so natively.

Sadly, true. Let me know if you find anything

"What is an "audio program"? Is that like an app? How do I even connect the CD to my MacBook?"

iTunes has it baked in, considering that's still required for synchronization with the iPhone/iPad (which is sadly still the best selling phone) I doubt anyone is dumb enough to not be able to rip a CD. Hell iTunes automatically asks you what you want to do with it when it you insert it.

You're stilll missing the other 66% - finding out where the files are and uploading them. But let's not discuss this further.

I've used dbpoweramp Music Converter/CD Ripper for about 12 years now - highly recommended. Hell, eventually I even bought the program as a token of my support for its creators and fantastic service*.

Haven't received any confirmation email about shipping from Amazon.de, and my bank account hasn't been charged yet either. So I'm not expecting it to arrive on my doorstep tomorrow.
Unlike with Vangelis' Rosetta, I'm just gonna listen to it on Spotify on Saturday or so when I get back home, I'm tired of having principles*. Bah, I say!
(I was gonna say that after all, I've already listened to Oxygene 17 a couple of hundred times so unlike with Vangelis, I've broken the "listening to tracks from the album before the album was released" principle already. But then I remembered that after all, I did listen to those Rosetta excerpts in 2014 and still refrained from listening to the album on Spotify before I got my vinyl copy in the mail. Bah, I say!)

Welcome. Your videos have exceptional sound (as far as concert bootlegs are concerned). You wouldn't happen to have a recording of Oxygene 17, Circus, Web Spinner by any chance?

Oxy 3 sounds like not Oxy. Review score will be low.

Having listened to the album several times now, I think it's truly great. This is probably Jarre's most challenging studio album since Zoolook, and quite different from what I expected. But all the better for it! What still makes it "oxygene", apart from the trademark white noise, is the layered subtleties (it's actually quite a lot of melodic themes going on in there) and the great flow throughout. Close your eyes and you dvelve into the journey.
Favourites: I'd say the whole album, but pt 16, 19 and 20 are outstanding.
