Yep Zoolook-ish + Orient Express-ish.
Classic with a twist in fashion terms.

Made me smile. Lighthearted.

Remember kids :
In LIFE when choosing friends, girlfriends, Life Partner, work colleagues, study colleagues
ALWAYS look for a person light hearted , makes you smile.
Else life becomes depressing, a prison.
I like the part around 2:00 in where it reminds me of Equinoxe 5. Other than that it's complete trash and sounds totally out of place.
.
No.

Before saying this is complete trash, we should be considering are we being complete trash about this.

It’s easy to be dark, I always thought it is always more difficult to create joyful music which had a certain kind of hidden melancholy attached to it.

Ah, the already infamous "Movement 6" AKA "can I have some more cheese with that, please?"...

Well, compared to Calypso, Computer Weekend and the usual suspects from Magnetic fields this new kind of cheese isn't exactly Tomme De Chèvre De Pays, more like straight off a MacDo cheeseburger in its commercialness. ;)
Still, the middle part actually does have a definite Jarre-vibe to it, so in short: this thing is practically *begging* for a remix.

Yeah, and I think it might be better than the live/PJ version. The bass line seems different and reminiscent of earlier works.
I'm sure there is a bit of "Falling Down" in there.
Not really, these are just the opening (sic) chords of "Coachella Opening".

Yeah it was the baseline that I noticed. Definite equinox’s vibes there, really looking forward to hearing the full thing.

I hope that Jarre will do a third electronica with young new pop artists who are in the top 50 charts(singers, rappers,...) The Equinoxe sequel is not good imo and sounds old fashion music.

No more old music Mr. Jarre.

Pause that video 10 seconds in. Could this be something we will see at the new Infinity tour? Some kind of holographic pictures? Would be cool :)

Movement 10 sounds really nice. After the opening minute I was thinking this was going to be another Oxygene 3 type track that doesn't go anywhere, but it does. It's a little bit like WfC on steroids.

Yes - Wikipedia says about it: "The title track 'Waiting for Cousteau' was not recorded in the conventional way, but is based on computer-aided composing. The composer defines the style, note ranges and instrumentation and uses these to generate the track by the computer."

And JMJ says about Movement 10: "The last track, Équinoxe Infinity, was made together with a group at Microsoft that specializes in Artificial Intelligence. I added to the algorithm my 'personal big data' made of samples, loops and sounds, in which the machine dug to generate a new result." - http://www.zoolook.nl/forum/viewtopic.p ... 456#203456

Similar concepts with similar results so to speak ....
