e-books, at least .epub-files don't have fixed page numbers.

Is it a PDF ebook? If it's EPUB it will reflow depending on your screen size and thus the page numbers won't match. The original book is supposedly 614 pages (according to Google) or 624 (according to the publisher's website)

The album came into work today and I'm listening to it for the first time now...

I already heard the Rone song and loved it a lot, so those are great!

The PSB song is much darker than I though which is wonderful in my eyes. The darker the better!!! Does their most recent CD sound like this?? Now I'm curious...

The Julia Holter song is nice musically, but I'm not a fan of female vocals of any kind so this will take a while for me to get into. It's not bad though. I like the floating repeating melody


Primal Scream is a band I've never listened to but I had the immediate urge to skip this track. Super upbeat and bouncy which dislike greatly! HOLY SHIT I can't take it anymore this is the worst ever.


The Numan song is everything you'd want it to be, and it's hard to not imagine their bromance while this is playing


The Hans Zimmer track is gorgeous. I'm so happy that it has the typical HZ glittering noises in the background. This was one of my most anticipated songs to hear, and it's great!

The song "Exit" tends not to seem as obnoxious when you're listening on a real stereo system. The track seems much more fluid that way. And just as I typed this my downstairs neighbor sent a text saying "having a rave up there?"

The Peaches song is so bad it's good....that's all I can come up with.

I liked the Sebastien Tellier song until the worlds least favorite vocal effect took over. Generally speaking though it's a fun trippy psychedlic sounding track.

The song "switch on leon" kinda caught me off guard at first. I tend to think that some sound clips interfere with songs, and found the first half too "busy" with them. The song twists and turns a lot which is pretty cool and a little less common for a Jarre song in my opinion. This was another highly anticipated track for me, and sadly I don't care for it much.

I dont know what I was doing because I dont remember the Siriusmo at all. Oops!

I only recently started listening to Yello, but am mostly familiar with their early catalog. I was hoping their track would sound similar to that time period, but it's quite different. I like it, but it is strange in the context of the whole album.

I'm not familiar with Jeff Mills, but I really liked his song so I want to check out more of his stuff. Very dreamy a blippy - a weird combo.

I went into this wanting to love the Cyndi Lauper song for reasons unknown to me. It starts out rocky, and again female vox aren't my thing, but once that first chorus hits it all comes together and make sense.

The vocal effect on this Christophe song are stabbing my ears. It's so in the front! JESUS

Ah yes, finally just Jarre on his own. I like his tune, and dramatic arrangements and chip noises are kinda cool. yup, stoned.

And 'the origin' takes a surprising turn which was nice. It's kinda cool to see how the song developed.

I definitely love the album and can't wait to get through it on all the different levels that part 1 offered!

Their latest album is far from dark. In fact, they wrote more than 20 songs for the album and ended up using 12 of them, the others were either too 'poppy' or too 'dark'. And Super is rather poppy. I'm very interested in their more sinister work, the album Fundamental (already 10 years old, released in 2006) is probably their darkest work and one of my favorite albums.

PSB jump around from style to style. In a world of cats and dogs it's quite difficult to be a kangaroo...

It sounds more like a very early version of "suns Have Gone" with Moby. But my be I'm wrong. I still didn't listen to the whole "Swipe To The Right"-song with Cyndi Lauper. May be I can judge tomorrow when the album came out.

Album has become very leaky. I'm surprised it took this long.
I'm listening to it now, although my Amazon CD won't come to hopefully tomorrow.
Gary Numan track sounds good, although I can't understand a word he is saying.

Not sure about the Holter track, it does sound very Enya.

The Zimmer track is epic. Love it.

Like the Tellier track, sounds a bit Kraftwerk-ish, then strangely reminds me of Cher's Believe in the chorus.

Can't get my head around The Orb track. But that's The Orb for you...

Liking the Jeff Mills track, although takes a while to get going.

Falling down pretty good, but not as good as I had hoped.
Same goes for the Lauper track. The last minute seems to have been tagged on by Jarre and doesn't seem to have anything to do with the main track.

Circus sounds like a throw-away track. JMJ just clowning around?

The Yello track is surprising good. Reminds me of Leonard Cohen.

The Christophe track doesn't do it for me so far. Don't like the vocals. Sorry.

HoS The Origin, much ado about nothing. Does the album really need 3 tracks that sound similar?

So the tracks I had already heard:
HoS, both very good, but Part 2 is better, so Part 1 may get a bit of skipping.
Brick England, the best pop track on either album, excellent.
As One, fairly catchy apart from the Smurf vocals.
Exit, the less said the better.
What you Want, surprising growing on me (like a wart). I don't hate it.


After a couple of listens, it's not as good as Part 1, which I would give a 8/10 to.
This so far 6.5/10, but it's early days.

Jarre+Zimmer - EPIC!! 11/10

Jarre+PSB - Great 10/10

Jarre - Falling Down and Heart Of Noise- Very Good 9/10

The rest tracks is average.

Electronica vol.2 > vol.1

I could listen to the Zimmer track all day. Got a lump in my throat listening to it.
