Glory - Javi Grex Remix (fan-made quite obvious)

I really don't like this Javi Grexit remix. The singing is abysmal.

I don't think the 16Bit Lolitas Remix is bad (of course, I'm using Jarremix or Disco 2 as the basis for bad remixes), but it's not very exciting either.

I'm not sure if I prefer the Steve Angello remix to the album version of the track either, as I did at one point. I guess it's grown on me... then again, so did Aerology to a degree. HA!

I think Glory would spawn more interesting remixes if the "acapella" M83 vocal was available. I'd happily do one myself.

Except for the "abysmal singing" it does have some interesting parts.

So far, I haven't really been excited by any of the tracks on E-Project. Zero Gravity is quite good, as is Watching You, but overall I've been a little disappointed.

Now I'm really liking the Remix EP! I'm quite surprised how much I enjoy listening to it, to the point that I wish the tracks on the main album were closer to these mixes, especially the JMJ remixes :)

Here's hoping for further Remix EPs!

That's two out of 4. Ain't bad.

I'd be happy if it were two out of four GREAT tracks, but that's not how I feel right now.

I'm still hopeful for the rest of the album. The Vince Clarke video is very promising, and I'm excited to hear how people like Gary Numan and Moby can work with Jarre.

Ehrm... 2/16 with the unreleased stuff. There's more to come I'm quite sure.

I think the Lolitas remix of Glory is not that bad, chill out track to pop it on somewhere in between doing dishes, cooking, cleaning, paying bills or whatever.
It kind of gives you a nice homely feeling although I find it very bland and nothing special.

You could start by doing a remix of the track "Black Bird" just to have it out of the way. :fine:

 Yes, maybe...: But My thoughts about "Conquistador" have a real Background. I worked last three month for and with a German moviemaker, who creates experimental movies. Very successful. I think this music will be fit for his new movie-creation.
Not the original track, but as a new remix.... especially made for the movie.
(I will ask him next week) If he like my idea, on the other side, I don´t know about using this music for the movie project. Where to ask ? Fiona ?? Forget it !!! JMJ ??? I asked JM in the past for using his creation ..but he he never answered. Will we get the original "mastertape" to work with ??? and other questions.

So it was only an idea...no time and energy to ran behind this idea.
