Talk about Renault Scénic and cars with world star Jean-Michel Jarre
The world-renowned French musician and pioneer within electronic music, Jean-Michel Jarre gave an exclusive solo interview to Motorsiden.dk's editor at the Renault stand at IAA Mobility in Munich. He has created the soundscape that surrounds the new Renault Scenic E-Tech electric.
It's a bottle of water - the side reads "source de Pédourès", which is located in the South of France.

The music of Jean-Michel Jarre in Renault electric cars
Renault electric models will now play the music of Jean-Michel Jarre, pioneer and living legend of electronic music. The album Oxygen brought him world fame, and today his compositions not only welcome and send off the driver in the new Renault Scenic, but also warn the pedestrians with their gentle melody when the silent electric car appears. Let's hear the sound design created by Jean-Michel Jarre for the premiere of the Renault Scenic at the IAA in Munich.

Does he say at the end that one of his first professional musical projects was an advert for Renault? My french isn't good enough to know for sure. If so, I've never heard of this before. Or is this a sideways reference to the A4 Autoroute jingle?!

An article published on 13/10/2023 via WeRave You is stating that:
In a unique collaboration, Jean-Michel Jarre recently joined forces with Renault to create innovative sounds for the car manufacturer’s future electric vehicles. Some of the sounds he developed were inspired by tracks from “OXYMORE.” As part of this collaboration, a new version of the iconic track “Oxygène 4,” merged with “EPICA” from “OXYMORE,” will be available for commercial release in the near future.
Sound plays a major role in the automotive experience: sometimes a vector of information, sometimes discomfort when its level is too high or its quality is poor, sometimes a source of pleasure and personality expression. With the electric vehicle, automotive sound is reinvented: it opens up new opportunities in terms of sound environment, musical listening quality and sound design. To illustrate its commitment to sound applied to the automobile, Renault Group is a partner of UNESCO Sound Week and organizes on January 16, 2024 in Paris a conference debate on "sound and the electric vehicle".
The sound, a vector of emotion
And to arouse even more emotions, illustrate the personality and identity of a brand, Renault Group is a pioneer in sound design applied to the automobile. A commitment illustrated by the cooperation with Ircam, a specialist in acoustics and music research, for more than thirty years and, more recently, by the partnership between the artist Jean-Michel Jarre and the Renault brand.
