My vinyl copy arrived a few hours ago. I ordered the LP (even though I have no turntable!) and then subsequently ordered the CD, which hasn't arrived yet for some reason.

Just got my vinyl as well (number 144).
I find the sticker annoying as it tears easily and left a sticky mark where I tried to peel it back to get to the vinyls and the enclosed leaflet on how to access the extra content.
I do have a turntable which I admit I have not used for a couple of years so I hope the belt is OK on it.

Ouch, sloppy.
I'm very curious to know if there's gaps between the tracks.

Listening to the streaming version now - and yup there are gaps - still fades out then back in again at the end of each track.

A few months ago, JMJ said that the existence of fade-outs was because record labels requested them due to streaming on various platforms. This time, since it's a CD and LP, that excuse doesn't apply.

The fades are such an odd thing, if they request it, you can deny it. If they require it, make different masters if that's the issue?

Can confirm the CD has no fade outs
Haven't played the Vinyl yet

After reading your post, I neatly slotted my seal with a scapel blade rather try to peel it off. My vinyl is number 1443. My CD arrived late yesterday, but with no number so I assume these aren't limited edition?

Huh, genuinely did not think they'd go through the trouble of two different masters. That's genuinely a nice surprise.

I like the NFC interactive content system. It works really well and given how ubiquitous smart phones are these days, an obvious way to provide bonuses and extra content.

My only complaint is how limited that content is. The short videos of JMJ explaining the concepts are interesting but the rest is, well ... there's not very much of it.

The photo gallery is limited, no close-ups of the performance. All distance shots.

The rehearsal video is just one film, taken on a phone it seems, and only from one angle and during most of this film, JMJ has his back to the camera (deliberate?) while playing Oxygene Pt. 2.

There's nothing about his VR/AR goggles. I was hoping he'd explain that bit of kit. I still don't understand why he wore them. What was he seeing in the goggles and why did he need to see whatever it was he was looking at? And how could he see where to place his hands in the real world while wearing those goggles? By sort of looking down and away?

The goggles were a key visual reference point for this concert - remember the original poster, with those goggles placed on the sun god image? This tech was noticeably absent from WTTOS, so a discussion about the goggles was obvious bonus content material, but nothing.

Finally, the AI artwork that I really like - used again in Bratislava and La Rochelle - doesn't get a proper full gallery or explanation about the tech used. It would be good publicity for whichever platform he used, for JMJ to name-drop the tech and the company concerned and to explain more about his creative process of image generation, but again, nothing.

A missed opportunity all around, I feel.

Yeh I felt a bit let down by the bonus content too.
Supposed to be a lossless streaming version but couldn't find it.
I was however able to download the videos to my phone then transfer to PC to watch on a bigger screen.
JMJ did say there will be a couple of updates.

So much for the "experience that cannot be shared" :>
