Well, since it's only 2.5 weeks now I think I'm deciding NOT to go...

I wanted to, really... Money is no object too..

But here's the thing, "they" haven't given a single clue about why this concert is gonna be special... I've seen no pictures, details of exact locations, not ANYTHING other then "in the desert somewhere...." And while I was waiting for those details to come it just became impossible to make definate plans (still no details BTW..)

Not worth my money then if so far all I know it's gonna be a stage in the desert in the dark with some synths and a guy miming, not to mention it takes 3 days to get there by camel (!) (exadurated just a bit, but you all know what I mean...)

I've seen a dozen JMJ shows over the years, this one doesn't seam worth the trouble to go to...

Too bad since it's been 5 years since the last concert I saw and I was really looking forward to seeing him in the flesh again...., but I'm not waisting my money on a total surprise, I have to work too hard to waste it like that, sorry JMJ (or others withholding info, you know who you are), you let me down here.

Yes, but I mean: Beautiful surroundings! One reason to go! But indeed, no exact location.

@Antigoon

All the special details about this concert have already been revealed, the theme, the country and special tracks. I don't think it make any huge difference whether there is one more kilo of sand more the other place. Im just saying that you have what to decide from. If you haven't been convinced about the differences yet, i don't think you will find many.

I hope you didn't take this as an attack 8)

I'm with Antigoon here, I can barely afford to go, but I was really planning to go if they would inform everybody properly about details and plans etc...

The theme and track highligts etc. have already been announced, I can only find that they have been a little sloppy about travelling.

Drawings..? Exact details about the site? Details about the journey/hotels? It's a big mystery to me. And I wonder how many people they plan to gather...

What I can find really laughable is that someone is starting to build a concert-merzouga website with only 3 weeks to go, in frensh only and even today the info section is still under construction!
LOOOL...planning folks, planning.
A phone number...well ok. I'm sorry but I don't see the reason to call somebody and find out something that is going to make an echo around the whole world.
You just shouldn't have to do that imho.

Anyhow...still I'm very excited and will fumble at every keyhole I can get to somehow see and listen to this concert
(or whatever it may become  ). 8)
I just want to give a little "kick in the butt" at the promote of this concert.

Well said. That's how I feel too. The concert seem neat and all that, but the rest is not very well taken care of...
