Putting it over that last years concerts were a series of test runs, that does not come over to good for the fans who were paying to see these "tests runs". They were funding these experiments.

So there is some sort of connection for the test part.

So LEG 2 will be like LEG 1 but entirely differant. So that means that LEG 2 will not be anything like LEG 1 due to it being very much differant

My point is: this tour is not related in any way to Arthur C. Clarke except the name of it...
I may be wrong, but that's how I feel at the moment.
But I'll buy the book...

If you read the interview in lejdd.fr then Jarre explains a bit how the tour is related to sci-fi, and thus ACC. lejdd.fr
"Looking to deliver a message through your concerts?
One of the underlying themes of the set design is to restore the idea of science fiction in its poetic dimension. We lost this positive vision of the future. She became anxiety and amounts to the fact well sort our garbage.Anxiety has become a business, such as ecology."
Dont only look for spaceships and rayguns in the projections. Sci-fi was never about that, but about society and the way we looked at the future in terms of hope, emotions and expectations.
Oh my god ! Jarre gave us Rendez-vous in November ! He said it on France 3 television ! Don't know anything more:D

Jean Michel Foivard wrote on the Aerozone forum :
Jean-Michel Jarre was on France 3 in "18: 30 today" he was live in Bordeaux, surrounded by his synths, but it lasted only 3 min. So, a nice little interview, the journalist said before the interview: "More dates are scheduled for November in FRANCE because of the success of the ticket purchases".
