Since the 3D version has the 2D version as well, I'll get that one and watch the 3D version when I get the proper equipment in 2015
I sure hope CDon updates their catalogue before the 13th...

That makes no sense...must be a listing error. Why would one CD be 5.1 and PCM and the other not...they must both be the same--it's cheaper that way!

On the websites you pointed, Ralf, it tells that there is a 5.1 sound on the 3D version aswell

The 2D DVD better have all the material the 3D one got, except for, obviously, the concert in 3D, and the 3D Photo Gallery... or I will go Viking berserk!

but it would have been better to have just one complete boxset with everything in it.
But then again, I suppose fans can make choices for what they do want and what they don't want.

I still no see what the issue with the boxed thing is since the 3D edition still has the 2D video of the concert

I'm not paying, even a dime more than the price of the 2D version, for something I can't use.
I'd hoped for a CD with the re-recording and a CD+DVD boxset with the live performance on both formats. But, alas, nothing in this world is perfect.
