why is everybody thinking that announcing the concert now will only leave 6 weeks to plan this event. Maybe they were planning long before, and only informed now, as the planning process was in a more definite stage?

Wasn't there a concert plan for Morocco earlier last year or so?

I don't think that personnally :

" Moreother, keep in mind there is a difference between the date of the announcement and the preparations for an event like this. " ;)

I'm reading this in the latest news on Francis Rimbert's official website;

"Francis Rimbert has confirmed he will on stage with Jean Michel Jarre and Claude Samard for an outdoor concert in Morocco 16. December 2006. Marie-Laure Leboucher from C.ZEN PROD will also be present as an artistic assistent for AERO PROD. More details are expected to follow as the project develops."

I don't know yet what to think about this idea...but I will certainty not be there when it happens. :lol: I'm allmost taking for granted there should be some kind of recording of the "event" if they'll pull it off. 8) Maybe this idea can have something to do with Jean Michel's inspiration from african music style? :roll:
Some free thinking there... :wink:

Exactly.
Nobody said it will be VIP-only and nobody said he won't play new music.
So let's not make a mess here. :D
