I can remember, I think it was in COTM, that Jarre was asked which album Metamorphoses would be closest to before its release... He said it sounded very different to any of his albums but that the closest one was probably Zoolook.

And if Mr. Normund thinks they don't have any similarities, doesn't mean somebody else can't think there are... I've heard more people say they do have similarites...

Sh*t happens, like it did last night in Riga (as shown in links in my www blog). But it's really nice that you admit this. Are you into photography, to judge clearly?
I don't mind you saying about this matter anything you may like, for my part. :)

Has anyone ever found the actual photo that was used to create the cover artwork?

Oh yeah, I've wondered that myself at times.

Also, a version of Zoolook with a promo poster (featuring a taller version of the cover art) was sold on eBay recently, I wasn't even aware of such poster's existence https://www.ebay.de/itm/JEAN-MICHEL-JAR ... 3378901373

Another weird Zoolook sighting: The dying sound in an old Amiga game ;)

(Some other sounds seem to be sourced from Blah Blah Cafe and Diva)

Someone found the source of one particular Ethnicolor II vocal effect. It was sampled from a 1976 record "Music in the World of Islam, 1: The Human Voice", Track 3: "Houri" by Habibola Halika
