Just been listening to that Variation III...
A while ago Jarre was doing a T&T interview and he mentioned that there were 'unreleased' parts of Oxygene.
Do we think Variation III is a new recording of one of those?
Fors:
It fits rather nicely. Parts of it sound like 'Arpegiateur' and 'Nuit a Shanghai' from The Concerts in China. Jarre has certainly recycled old material in the past (Zoolook, RendezVous, Chronologie) so maybe he used some of the unreleased componants when making The Concerts In China.
Againsts:
It sounds a bit like filler. Jarre might have created something new to fit in with the original Oxygene to remind people that he can still make good music after the 'effort' that was T&T.

Many websites are showing that it is a new track and not "unreleased" track, for example this

I´m getting the biggest edition!!
Can´t wait!! I´m not gonna preorder anything, I expect it to be there on the shelves in my local record shop November 26!! Or is it November 23?

Maybe some countries might have it on the 23 November, while other countries might have it on the 26 November.
I will go to my local music store on the 23 November and if they do not have it, then the 26 November.

The concert was filmed with High Definition cameras but the DVD still has the ordinary 576p definition.
I think I'll order the 3 DVD 3 D DVD 2 D VD + 5.1 CD new master recording "deluxe" only because it's "limited" edition.
I'll order the ltd. ed.

Yes but there was a weird statement about the UK first when we heard about this release, or do I remember wrong?

Maybe your thinking of the Oxygene in Moscow DVD:
