One of the drum loops from Oxygene 17 can be heard in the beginning
Well, the first time I heard this "drum loop" on the album, I immediately knew it was a sampling. My guess were that it came from Spectrasonics' 'Stylus' drum synth, but I'm not sure. It does kinda sounds like it though (I have it myself, but haven't checked)Jote wrote:Check this out

Obviously Pat you're just lacking in the proper philosophical training, inward thinking, and appreciation for metaphysics and higher dimensions. If you had such gifts you'd know that it's a crap album that could be reproduced in mere seconds by anyone with a modern synth.Pat Gleeson wrote:Jeez, what a joyless bunch frequent this place at times ...
I'm so happy I can't play any synth... Well, there's one mystery solved. Now I have to scratch that from my "Electronica working title" listDr_Jones wrote:Oxygene 19 is the track that triggered the entire project - the sound of the melody is close to Oxygene 4. ‘Extreme Wave’ was the working title, as I had in mind a space-surfer, surfing on one gigantic organic wave…
