We don't know how many more years healthy JMJ will be to tour.
We should grab every opportunity to attend any JMJ concert.

Helsinki is announced as an outdoor event by the promoter. The only show so far that seems to be indoors is Tallinn. All other shows are outdoors.

That's why I went to Bratislava, because that seemed like a big concert like in the good old days. And I think it delievered, even if attendance was a bit disappointing (maybe because it was announced too late, just one month prior). And *that's* how I wanted to remember JMJ (and not playing the same thing over and over again in some spa resort in Poland).
dzoolook wrote: Sat Mar 08, 2025 6:55 pmThat element of playing live is what's missing from Jarre's recent shows. What difference is there between Oxygene 19 since 2018 Tour, WTTOS (2020) and Versailles or Bratislava/Francofolies 5 years later? musically, none.
Different sound effects that Jarre triggers live!

Seriously though, he's not a good performer and I don't think he's ever been. During the Electronica Tour he was adamant about playing the Oxygene 2 ending (he likes that ascending syncopated part) and he was almost always butchering it. That's why I bailed on this Indoors tour in 2011. I attended a concert of this tour in 2009 and it was great. I took my partner to a concert in 2010 and I was simply embarrassed by how they were all butchering it. It genuinely sounded like amateurs trying to play over backing tracks.

Until the boat closing time, 2 am. I then spent an hour wandering streets of Bratislava waiting for my bus to Vienna to arrive. I guess the opportunity to meet with other fans again would be something to convince me into going, and it would be honestly easier for me to get Brussels, Stuttgart or Helsinki than to Dolina Charlotty in my own country :>

Wrong dates for Venezia and Pompei.
From Brussels, he goes to Venezia first, on 3rd July, then goes to Pompei for 5th July.
Swap the dates!

From what I heard, there should be two or three more dates to come and that's it.
