That I think I'll have to buy a new needle for my pickup on the turntable, it is 4 years old and has started to sound crappy.

I have had my tuntable for 4 years bought from new. I just bought the pickup at the same time and I have never replaced the needle with a new one. Now is the time I think :) It sound horrible and I don't want to destroy my records.

It's a Shure M44-7 It is a needle made for the purpose of scratch, but I use it as a regular pickup also.

Yeah, always those laws... Sometimes I get tired of them! I understand they are to protect the artist, but sometimes you have to be a little flexible, allow this kind of websites!

The supposedly unplayed Autobahn and Computer World together with shipping fees would be ~47 euros, which is way too much... it would have been neat to have them, though. :P
