What else? Vintage was the best track he played as it was the most modern: the crowd loved it. It would have been cool of him to dedicate Geometry of Love to the newly weds too. How about Neimo getting up on stage with Jarre to perform the rock remix of Aerology? That's a hot track! Maybe one of the remixed Oxygene 8 and 10 tracks from Odyssey Through o2? Very danceable and Jarre loves playing the "DJ".

I'm sorry but Metamorphoses is soo "not" Jean Michel Jarre. C'est La Vie is just a crazy arabic song that sounds like it was made hundred years ago.
Besides I think that we have Joachim Gerraud to thanks for a lot in that album.
Anyway even if he had pulled it off with some more tracks from his 2000- era we wouldn't have been satisfied because then we could've ranted about the way he played the tracks.
Some would've even prefered it to be playback and if it was, many others would've ranted over that too.
So I'd guess that it's an impossible task making up for all the Jarre fans at the same time, there will always be something to critisize. The Monaco version of Equinoxe part 4 could've been just perfect if JMJ didn't smashed it to pieces with those darn cymbals. It's just an opinion too and it could go on and on....
What many of us though seem to agree about is that JMJ's concerts really needs some totally new tracks. Right now it's just a "history repeating" or in some cases a "history raping".

It is in the database, I amplified it a bit to 0 db because it was not very loud.
But is also misses pieces, you hear the extra sounds even better than on TV, and a few times you have a jingle in it "This is JMJ on Radio Monaco".
Maybe it is better to use the Audiorip from RTBF, which is also in the database.

What is interesting is that in Kanta's video you see JMJ run back towards the Synthex in his set-up. He must have thought, at first, it was his synth playing up. But then you see him switch the octive pedal a couple of times. But it did kick back up again. The laser harp is certainly a tempermental peice of gear.

That comment has really wound me up, what a pathetic thing to say. You really don't appreciate that every Jarre album has been different from one to the other, THAT sooo Jean Michel Jarre.

Everyone hear agrees that Zoolook was one his finest albums, well Meta is just a progression of that style IMO.

I quite enjoy Meta so don't knock it.

People, finally I can write were. I arrived yestarday from French Riveira. It was a great trip to me. I saw my first concert. For me, the laser harp crap, is ok. All thing were magic. I'd oportunnity to met my friends that I wrote for years or decades but never seen. Gleen from Norway, Dr.Jones and Kanta from here. Cedric from France, Sergio from Spain, Max, Danielle (digital Snake) and all people from Italy.

But, the great moment not the concert, but my met with Jarre. I honor him with a special plaque from brazilian fan club. Coming soon, I will put the pictures!

Merci Jarre. OBRIGADO !!!
