What is your favourite Jarre decade. This can include albums, singles, soundtracks, concerts, the man himself, publicity, etc etc
Jarre concerts attended - Destination Docklands 1988 - Paris La Defense 1990 - Europe In Concert 1993 (Manchester & London) - Oxygene Tour 1997 (Birmingham)

80s, but I think he still went on pretty strong up to 1995.

Well that's a hard question :D

In the 70's higlights were Oxygene and Equinoxe. In the 80's he did some different music. Magnetic Fields, Music For Supermarkets, Zoolook, Rendez-Vous and Revolutions are so different, the JMJ signature is still printed in it though. In the 90's my favourite album Oxygene 7-13 was done and it counts alot even though the style is traced to 70's and 80's.
Normally I prefer music from the 80's but I think there was a little too much orchestral in JMJs 80's music.

I can't decide. It's like chosing what familymember you like best.

I voted for 90's because he did all his concerts in the 90's, and Chronologie and Oxy7-13 were made in 90's too so :P

Well, whan I said "he did all his concert in 90's", I was not right, in fact I wanted to mean "he did most of his concerts in 90's"
That's right because he made the Oxygène Tour and the Chronologie Tour ;)

I choose the 70s as this is the decade I was first introduced to Jarre with his 'Oxygene' and 'Equinoxe' albums. Also, his pre-Oxygene material from the very early 70s. . . . And it was ALL analogue :D

I choose the 80's, my favourite tracks are still among the other decades. I just think he did more in the 80's.

:? That’s a tough one because there are two decades that are my favourite. 70’s for "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe" albums, 90’s for "Oxygene 7-13" album, concerts - "Paris La Defense", "Oxygen in Moscow"and "12 DOTS".

Ok the 90’s gets my vote because the list is a bit longer :!: :D

1980s: CiC, Magnetic Fields, Zoolook. Classic albums. I'd really go for 1976-1986 if I could.

Aaaaaaargh, I can't select more than one option!!! :(
Wanna say '70 to '00. And the new Aerotracks, but I don't know what this decennium will bring us.
