Just for fun I came up with a list of albums that I thought were similar in one way or another between JM Jarre and Vangelis. know their music is completely different but this is just for laughs. Seriously, it would be amazing if they ever did decide to collaborate (though I'm sure it will never happen).

Strangely, Sessions 2000 and Geometry of Love both feel more in the style of Vangelis in the sense that they are very mellow albums and sound alike. Vangelis last few albums are starting to sound alike as well.

These are just my off the cuff comparison 9either musically, thematically, or just because it felt right).

Feel free to tear this apart and post your own but I wanted to keep it bewteen Jarre & Vangelis (two of the best musicians out there!)

JM Jarre + Vangelis
1.) Oxygene --- Earth
2.) Metamorphoses --- See You Later (surprised fans who were critical of both)
3.) Les Concerts En Chine --- China
4.) Sessions 2000 (cover painting by modern artist Mark Rothko) ---
Beauborg (Cover of (Paris Museum of Modern Art)
5.) En attendant Cousteau --- Oceanic
6.) Deserted Palace --- The Dragon/Hypothesis
7.) Zoolook --- Voices
8.) Les Granges Brulees --- L'apocalypse Des Animaux
9.) Revolutions --- The City
10.) Printemps De Bourges - -- Invisible Connections
11.) Geometry Of Love --- Opera Sauvage
11.) Aero --- Odyssey
12.) Rendez-Vous --- Mythodia (both for NASA)
13.) Live at the Akropolis, Athens --- Live at the Temple of Zues, Athens
14.) Equinoxe --- Spiral
15.) Chronologie --- Direct

I don't know all the records vangelis did so not really able to confirm ...

I loved Opera sauvage (absolutely beatiful), Spiral, Direct, The City. But if I had to pick-up one or two, it would be "Themes - Vol1" and "Themes - Vol2" :mryellow:
