Do you know Didier Marouani and his band, Space ?
That's also electronic music stuff mixed with real choirs, that's really nice music to listen too.

His most famous hits were Magic Fly, Just Blue and Space Opera, but he keeps going today...

Good stuff.

Recently picked up Space Opera on Amazon; nice stuff.

Just as a heads-up, what may possibly be his best live album (well, when it comes to his non-Space Opera tracks anyway) - definitely his "Concerts in China" and not just because this one also features Dominique Perrier - has recently been released on black and silver vinyl:

Well, I wish there was a way to preview those tracks, because the tracklisting appears to be based on the 1980s video release instead of the most recent re-release on Spotify - which is a great thing ... unless they've just put the VHS audio on vinyl. :P

Interesting article on Space's Magic Fly:
https://www.hiphopelectronic.com/no-daw ... -magic-fly
Magic Fly is a real experience for the listener, and it is a smooth, galactic drift with a touch of Balearic. The sound design and synthesis of this piece is a work of art.

The song was composed in the same apartment as "Oxygene" by Jean Michel Jarre in 1976. Being good mates at the time, Didier took Jarre's apartment and created this masterpiece on a Korg synthesizer, Arp Odyssey, and a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5.
