"It's been more than 2 years now that I've been lucky to join the Jean Michel JARRE/CPM team as a musician/arranger/musical director.
After the Beijing (CHINA) concert in 2004, Copenhagen (DENMARK), MONACO, Gdansk (POLAND), Lint (BELGIUM) in 2005 the year 2006 was very busy :
- the making of a new JEAN MICHEL JARRE studio album (to be released internationaly in March 2007 for WARNER)
The album features 13 new titles and will be released March 26th. I was one of the few musicians who collaborated very closely in the making of the project with JM.
- a unique "WATER FOR LIFE" concert performed in the SAHARA desert in MOROCCO (Dec 16th 2006) under the auspices of the UNESCO and the Kingdom or Morocco with 60 moroccan musicians (Philharmonic, Gnawa, Oriental orchestra, oud, Berber choir...)
The concert was a real challenge (as usual with JM
, but Alain Bilowus (the boss of CPM) put together a team of experienced and trusty collaborators who made the artistic wishes of JM come true.
The show was unreel, performed in the desert and was entirely conceived by JM, with 9 huge screens for video that survived the sand storms and desert winds. It was a magic experience for all"
